Susquehanna Glass Company
How would you describe your work to someone discovering it for the first time? I would say we are like a chameleon. We can adapt quickly to creating trendy sand etched drinkware as well as creating heirloom quality, hand-cut glass pieces, which is where Susquehanna Glass got its start in 1910. In addition, we can work directly with customers to design custom art for special occasions, making for an even more personal gift giving experience. Plus, we have an extensive catalog of existing designs that can be etched on to a wide variety of products including glass, ceramics, insulated stainless steel, wood, slate, leather, and acrylic.
Where do you find inspiration—places, people, music, nature, stories? Everything and anything is an inspiration. Keeping a pulse on trendy themes, special events and holidays are one path. Being a big fan of snarky humor and puns, another path is driven by anything that really makes me laugh. So, I keep an ongoing list of phrases, images, and thoughts that I would like to design toward. It makes my heart so happy when I hear customers cracking up when visiting either of our spaces.

Fun Stuff:
Morning creator or midnight maker?
Anytime of the day really. It mostly depends what else is on my plate day to day.
Coffee, tea, or something else while you create?
My new pick-me-up is mushroom coffee with some protein shake thrown in for cream and sweetener.
Studio soundtrack right now?
XPN is playing most all of the time.
